Today was awesome. On Sundays, they close off Golden Gate Park to cars, so that the whole road is free for bikes and runners and roller bladers and random people who want to stop in the middle of the road with gigantic strollers because their babies are more important than everyone else. I hopped on my new bike, a blue Schwinn with an incredible front basket, and Dylan and I set off for Ocean Beach, about 40 blocks West.
We rode through the whole park, looking good the entire time:
We safely navigated through crowds of sweaty anarchists and old men who regretted not being in an air conditioned vehicle:
We stopped where there was a crowd of people to see what the action was:
AHHH it was a circus show!! Abort, Abort!
After the long ride, we made it to the beach. We found a place called the Beach Chalet and went up to the second floor, which over looked the ocean.
We ordered iced teas:
And veggie burgers:
And then, since the Beach Chalet is a brewery, we had to order some beers:
I think we might do the exact same thing next Sunday.
