This is going to be a very long post. But that's because yesterday was one of the best days I've had all summer. My three cousins, aunt and uncle are visiting Napa for the week from New Jersey. Dylan and I drove up in the morning to spend the day with them.
First, we went to a wine tasting at _____ (Joj, Kimbo, Kate, what's the name of it?) and it was amazing.
Apparently, the bottles of wine sell for a ton of money, but this winery is silly enough to have free tastings. FREE. After the tasting, we went outside, and I panicked that I was in fact dead and in a humid type of heaven.
But, I was alive and well, so we went to an Italian deli and got some food and had a picnic at another winery called _____ (help me out here). We got a couple of bottles of wine and sat outside at a picnic table eating olives, cheese, baguettes, etc. Around this time, you were probably sitting at your desk with a pb & j, or if it was a good day, some reheated pasta from the night before.
I was here:
Then we headed back to my cousins' suite where I realized my love for champagne toasts. Feel free to toast me in the future. I'll make it worth your time.
Then, while you were staring at the clock with about T minus 2 hours left in your work day, I headed to the pool.
Here is a picture of my dreamboat cousin Kimberly:
I have a lot of other pool pictures, but I would have to get approval first to post them, and I'm a bit tired/already spent a lotttt of time putting pictures here.
After we got our Italian skin sufficiently tan (except for Dylan, who is still a bit transparent), we went back to the suite to get ready for dinner. My cousin, Joanne, had laid out an outfit for me since I didn't bring one.
This is a picture of me showing Joanne how great I look in her clothes:

The restaurant was called Rotisserie (right??) and was awesome. See? Kimberly and Dylan had a great time.
And in case that wasn't proof enough, look--Joanne and I had a good time too.
I had the BEST time with my family! But thank god I still have five more weeks off to relax after all of this excitement.
