I had a low key week filled with some nice nothingness. I had a to do list which basically just said: "buy cat food; go on a free boat ride; pay phone bill." I did not do those things, but I did some other things.
Like, one day, I wore my pajamas until 4pm. I even left my house like that, which I haven't done since college.
I walked to Starbucks in my pjs, which turned out to be unfortunate. The Starbs near my house is on the UCSF campus so all of the nurses wake up at the asscrack of dawn and are on their second or third cup of coffee by the time I roll in. They've seen patients, probably have saved lives, and I'm showing up in the sweatshirt I still have drool spots on. Classy.
I enjoyed a nice caramel machiato on the outside patio in my sweats. Of course, no one else was out there because they're all in a hurry to get back to their lives.
Another day, Dylan and I took a long walk around the city.
And then ended up in Golden Gate Park.
What else happened this week?? You're dying to know?? I'll tell you. My mom sent me a picture of her looking HAWT going out to dinner for her anniversary, with a champagne cocktail in hand.
Also, I wore this shirt three days in a row:
Dylan made a freaky mask and scared the crap out of me:
And I got a little bored and took some self pictures:
I tried to learn how to use my camera, but I didn't. I'm not really sweating it.
I did some actual things too, like planned out some teaching units blahh. I might read a section of Monster and a section of Speak with the 7th grade, and Hills Like White Elephants with 8th grade. I saw Ashley and Mark at Danny Coyle's and I brought a bag of clothes that had been sitting in my hallway for seven months to the cleaners.
